Leadership From Diverse Members of the Community

Guadalupe Valley Habitat for Humanity is led by a passionate, dynamic team of executives and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Habitat relies on strong partnerships within the Guadalupe County community to provide the necessary volunteer and funding support needed to serve our families in need.

Madeline Zwicke

Executive Director

“Growing up in Guadalupe County, I know this area is full of caring people who are more than willing to help their neighbors in need with a ‘hand up’. Our volunteers live out the Habitat mission on a weekly basis, every time they volunteer in our ReStore or show up to our build site, they are coming together as a community to build homes. Our volunteers and supporters contribute talents and time to Habitat for all sorts of reasons, but regardless of the ‘why’, every homeowner, volunteer and staff member share one thing in common—we all love the work. We hope to get even more people involved in Habitat’s work in the years ahead.”

Alex Rojas

Program Assistant

“Volunteers are the backbone of our mission-driven work. I am honored to work alongside them as we work towards providing homes for deserving families in our community. The commitment and hard work our volunteers put in is evident in everything they do. I find it truly inspiring to work alongside our volunteers and homeowners every day.”
